I recently purchased a Bear takedown with the new aluminum "mag" riser. It has an adjustable side plate on the shelf to adjust center shot. From the factory, it came sucked in all the way to the riser. At this position, the arrows appear to be either at center or slightly inboard of center. Is there a reason why I should push it out from center? I am right handed and just beginning to start tuning it. Frankly I am a beginner to tuning period. Thanks in advance

The farther in it is, the stiffer the arrow you will need and vice versa, so you adjust it till the arrow flys straight, I would suggest moving it out till it's even with the string to start
