Recommendations on a Down Vest

I am looking for a down vest that is low profile to layer under my outer shell (don't want to look like the Michelin Man). It should preferably be decent at cutting the wind, packable, and quiet....and of course warm.

Currently looking at the Stone Glacier Grumman Vest, so if anyone has experience with that or another recommendation I would appreciate it!

Puffy vest

I’m looking to get a puffy vest. Looking at the kuiu super down ultra, and Sitka Kelvin aerolite vest. Wondering if anybody has experience with either and what you would recommend.

Try Eddie Bauer. Great bang for your buck. Honestly there’s tons of choices. MTN Hardwear, Patagonia, Arc Teryx.

I have the Grumman. For warmth to weight it is hard to beat unless you go the custom vest route.

I have Ariat and Eddie Bauer that were cheaper and just as good or better than my hunting brand vests. They are less bulky…
