Really Interesting Baselayer Vids by ProLite Gear

These were interesting thanks. I wonder if there are any hunting clothing manufacturers that are utilizing the 65% merino and 35 % polyester material. I'd like to give it a try and RAB sounds like they make quality garments, I just can't see hunting in a pastel blue shirt :)

Kuiu is close with their 145 Merino and 230 Merino tops each is a little different percentage but they are both right in the area

I think Kuiu has a long ways to go with their merino line. I own a lot of their outer gear but am not a fan of their merino compared to other companies. Interesting videos.

One thing that is not mentioned in this video is the retained thermal value that merino will give you when wet or dry over a synthetic. I run both synthetic and Merino. In the morning when I am hiking hard and not hunting, I run synthetics to help keep my body cool. Once I get up top and am in the zone, I switch over to merino to keep me warm. I think it is important to note is when to use a certain fabric.

Woolpower = 60% Merino, 25% Polyester, 13% Polyamide and 2% Elastane. I haven't been in anything colder than 20. Very warm and light.
