I don’t usually do this, but I figured in case anyone here has been looking for one of these, I’d at least let them know I’ve got one posted to eBay. Link at the bottom of the post:
I obtained this in a trade from a “special forces” guy about four years ago. I used it as an attachment on my Kifaru pack.
I’m guessing it’s cubic inches around 750... weight around 13 oz. When fully zipped, it has three separate pockets to store items in. The center zip area can be completely unzipped, which contains a set of shoulder straps. When unfolded, the two remaining pouches are now upright on the user’s back.
It has two female clip attachment points on the “rear” of it, allowing the user to clip it in to their pack as desired.
It is a truly rare piece of Mystery Ranch craftsmanship. I emailed photos to MR and they indicated it was a small batch/ limited production several years ago as an E&E attachment to the bottom of a Communications Pack they made (for SF?). They stated there was less than 30 of these made. I have those emails and will forward if the winning bidder desires.
It is a really slick setup, I’ve used it as a “personal item” when flying, day trips hiking or to the zoo... carries weight well and is very versatile. Houses a Glock and fruit snacks like a champ.
I feel like it is time to send this unicorn on to a new user to enjoy its beauty... may the winning bidder not be a d-bag and may he (or she) proudly display this bad boy with pride.
