Just picked up a pair of 5 watt GMRS radios. I thought we had a GMRS repeater in ur area, but it unfortunately only supports HAM. I was pretty disappointed to see there are only a few GMRS reapters in the entire state. Has anyone made their own repeater and if so, what can I expect for cost and range ?
