R Pod camper

Anyone have an R Pod camper, we are looking hard a the 179 model since we will be doing alot of traveling this summer and with an expected second kid due any day we are out growing the truck bed platform. Looks like around 2500lbs should be nothing for my tundra to haul.

We have the 178. The weight will end up being over 2500lbs though. I don't know if they advertise a bare trailer weight without the options but ours is labeled at about 3200lbs. It pulls nice though. Make sure you lay in the bed with your wife. We have found that after using it a few times we wish the bed were longer. Also expect to upgrade the mattress. There is a pretty good R-pod forum and my wife gets a lot of information off the R-pod Facebook page.
