Quieting your pack frame

Looking for ideas to quiet the shoulder straps both inside and out. I've thought of adding some type of felt?

Basically trying to make the shoulder straps as quiet as the Kifaru longhunter straps were. They had soft material inside and out. Much more stealthy than the new shoulder straps.

That's the only thing with SG MATERIALS. It's the black xpac material on the upper portion of the straps. Especially in the cold. But truth be told. It has never cost me an animal

If I was starting a pack company that’s the first thing I would address.

I have a SG pack and have never once noticed any noise from the shoulder straps. Noise would drive me bonkers......it would be like a squeak or rattle in a vehicle.......won't tolerate them.

I’m assuming you spoke with Kifaru. What did they tell you?
