Been in the market for a new bino system harness for a while now. This is my 3rd setup I've played with since April. I gave away my shit vortex in Nz this spring.
Binoculars are meopta meostar hd 10x42.. size small bino harness.
The good: quality construction, stitching looks great, seems built to last. Made by a tax paying American. One handed operation. Well thought out design, you don't need to fiddle with it during operation. A good setup for guys who use tripod a lot. Opens the right way and I really like the magnet design system. Nice and stiff, holds shape.
The bad: open sides and a lot of room between top of bino and the lid
Buckle and strap system is way overkill for my needs. I don't love the odd angles for the top attachment on the harness.. And it's a bit heavy on the scale.
Edited:
i'll keep them. As much as I think there's room for improvement in a fully enclosed system and I will upgrade when that happens, they are the best current system. Kuiu sucks for tripod use, acg is a monstrosity, fhf opens the wrong way and all others seem too funky to really consider.
I apologize for writing a review too early. As my buddy says, I have too much time and money on my hands. Lol
