Many ways to skin this cat it seems. My gameplan for setting neck tension on new brass (novice reloader) is expand with 30 cal mandrel to turn necks with turning mandrel, then run a .306 expander mandrel to set/ensure 2 thou neck tension.

One subsequent firings, bushing die to set 3 to 4 though tension, then expand back out to 2 thou with the .306 mandrel...correct to assume once fired the neck will be larger than .306 and this need to use a bushing die to squeeze necks down then expand back to desired tension?
