I'm looking for a company who makes a puffy coat in Large/Tall. I'm 6'5"/205 so Large items fit me well in the body but they come up short in the arms and come up to my belly button when i lift my arms up. XL items are usually a little longer but they are too baggy in the body. has anyone found a good company that make gear for us tall skinny folks?

Cabelas brand, Eddie Bauer/First Ascent, and LL Bean jump to mind for puffies in Talls. Also, Cabelas carries The North Face Thermoball jackets in Tall, which is exclusive to them. Good luck with your search! I struggled with this as well last year (i ordered at least a dozen different puffies from 8 different brands). In the end, i kept a Patagonia MicroPuff in a Large (normally wear medium) to get the sleeve length i wanted. Roomy in the body, but lays nicely.

I'm 6'6" 210 and have the KUIU Super Down jacket in XL and it fits fine. I also had the FL Uncompahgre in XL and it fit fine as well. I also have an XL down puffy from Costco and it fits fine. I'm not quite as concerned about my sleeves reaching my hands as I am about my pants reaching my ankles. Pants is where I find issues. I wear 38" sleeve dress shirts if that gives you any indication.

I have an older version of the Cabelas prima loft puffy that fits well...I have a polar fleece Eddie Baur and it fits barely but the sleeves are not as long as you might like.

I'm 6'3" and wear a 17 1/2 35"sleeve on a dress shirt. I think if your sleeve is longer than 36" you might have to go to Feathered friends, Beyond clothing or Grey Wolf woolens to have something made...don't count it out, a good quality jacket that fits is worth it.

First Lite Uncompahgre. I'm 6'3" 185 with a 36/37 sleeve and the large fits great. It is cut really long in the body but you may need a XL for sleeve length? It'd be close.
