Puffy clothing storage question

I’ve looked through the search function and I’m not finding the exact answer I want. I know just like sleeping bags, puffy ( down or synthetic should not be stored compressed. My problem is I’m hanging all Of mine up in my den. I want to store them in a tote but I do not want to ruin them. I’m thinking I’m right BUT just to make sure. If I buy an over sized tote and just lay them in there loosely I should be good. I store my sleeping back like this just wanted to make sure i wasn’t going to ruin them. Thanks ahead

Yeah you’ll be fine. As long as when you put the lid on you’re not having to mash the bag down much if at all, you can be sure you’re not compressing them too much.
