New guy from pennsylvania here. Used to hunt a lot more when i was younger but im slowly returning to it. Years as a flat rate mechanic makes you feel like if you are awake, you should be working, and then all the fun goes out the window. I have a 7 month old son that im really looking forward to introducing to hunting as he gets older. Thanks for havin me!

Sounds like a darn good reason to get back into it...taking kids to the woods is an amazing experience!

I've been the same way. i hunted my whole life hard as much as i could. hardly a day in season that i didn't get a morning hunt or an evening hunt in. then i started working and i feel like i haven't had any time to hunt. Its my fault in the long run i just pick up to much overtime. this year its been slowing down and im looking forward to spending more time in a tree back home and i have a trip planned out west to Colorado. couldn't be more excited. id say the only thing i could be is when i have a little hunting buddy tagging along. Good luck this year
