Private land access vs fully guided hunt

It's pretty much $20 per acre with or without cattle where I hunt in SW Oklahoma. More if you consistently have elk on it. The elk are about a 1/2 mile south of me so hopefully we'll have some in the next year or two.

At least in the state of Michigan or it used to anyway have paid to hunt anything around here in awhile but it money changed hands for the hunting rights the land owner was no longer liable for anything the paying hunter did. I’m not sure on other states when we had a few places of leased ground in Illinois those were all hand shake deals with the farmer and we never had any issues
