I think so, I am a 36 waist and the large fits me.

Yep xxl = 40"....
I'm a 38" and the Xl typically fit me perfectly.

Snagged a pair! Thanks for posting. FYI, if the fit feels snug, wear them around for a few hours and they'll loosen up just a bit.

I ordered a few pairs for my son and I Monday, and they shouted up in my mailbox Wednesday on free shipping. Crazy good shipping by 6pm and the USPS.
