potlatch forest lands

Anyone ever spent much time in the potlatch forest lands around pierce/headquarters? Thinking about heading up there for spring bear and since you cannot bait in 10A it is one of the preferred units for us to do a spot and stalk in. seem like compared to unit 10 there is plenty of large cuts to green up and attract bears. Its either unit 10A or unit 1 at this point in time since neither allow baiting.

I hunted the potlatch land outside of Pierce this last November for deer. There's plenty of clearcuts to glass and the timber that isn't clear cut there is EXTREMELY thick (Western Washington thick). It's pretty tough to get away from roads in that area but I would try calling Potlatch and asking if they have any problem areas for bear on their land around Pierce and HQ. If a Timber Co has a problem area for bears then generally they are happy to hear that you want to go kill one.
