That elk was a bull. They cut his antlers off to pull the tire a few days ago.
Even worse. He was the Mr. T of the elk woods and woke up with a tranquilizer hangover, no macho necklace, and no antlers. I bet he hides in a hole for a few months.

True, but hopefully that doesn't happen. I know I would not shoot him.
I bet a lot of long range guys would be surprised to walk up and see their monster cow was sporting tackle between the hind quarters.
