Podcast: Science of Bullet Selection

I ran across a podcast this morning by Gunwerks regarding hunting bullet selection. It seems the Gunwerks guy generally prefers Berger/OTM type match bullets to the tipped match bullets popular here (which is probably not news). But there's some interesting discussion about bullet type wound profiles and why different bullet types may be preferable in different situations. I thought it interesting and worth sharing, even though his ego was a bit off-putting at times. Wallups were only brough up indirectly, however, so that was disappointing.

Listened to that yesterday. Good conversation for sure. He also definitely has a solid ego towards everything shooting related. But they have innovated a lot for sure. It’s hard to find someone that’s well studied and practiced in their field that doesn’t have a slight ego. So I don’t hold it against him honestly.
