Picatinny on a Trekking Pole?

Sort of an odd question, but has anyone mounted a picatinny ot ARCA rail on the leg of a trekking pole? I just rececived my new Tricer RP bipod and the simplicity of the QD has me wondering about using it in conjunction with my terkking pole (with a 1/4x20 stud in the handle) as a tripod. . .

Crazy idea??
