Help the old un techy fella out, what is the process to ensure that photos aren’t showing where I am located on this I-phone. I would like to share more pics in the internet’s but shake at the thought of more people trying to find my once secret spots.

Settings>Privacy>Location Services. Turn off the master button if you don’t use any map apps from your phone. You can also just tune out location tracking on the camera and for your photo album individually.

Will this remove locations from previously taken photos and videos? I scrolled through the various apps and removed the location access, is that correct?

It prevents tag data from being displayed. If you toggled off those buttons, your secret spots are safe.

You can also show the pic on your phone, take a snapshot (home button plus power button) and just send the snap.

Like previously said, just screenshot your photo and share that one. All photos taken have the meta data that gives the gps quardinates of where it was taken. There are apps out there that can pull this information from a image hyperlink. Most social media platforms have kind of encrypted this information for privacy reasons.
