Anyone got a line on decent priced T shirts for backpacking? Love to find something in the 25$ Range that is decent. I know I want alot =-). Got my Pants setup for the year but now after some good backpacking shirts. want to hear what your using where to buy and how much? Id like something that drys fast is cool in hot weather and that doesnt stink bad after sweating it in for a day. Thanks.

That just about rules out everything except Merino. I have a couple older Cabela's MTP t-shirts that I use in the summer when I don't want a sopping wet cotton t-shirt that work well, but they do have the stench after a day of sweating in them.

The under armor "heat gear" Ts I have are my go to shirts but the are the loose fitting style, dry quick and can be found on sale. Dont use much of the UA base layers anymore but still really like the t shirts.

I like the UA charged cotton. They still contain cotton but dry a lot quicker than regular shirts and seem cooler than all cotton. I found some this winter in Cabela's bargain cave for $10.

I use an adidas climalite sleeveless on my hikes in. I havent had any issues with it getting stinky and it dries super fast. I have underarmour heat gear shirts and the adidas is much better, its thinner, lighter, more stretchy and dries faster. I use both for workouts and the adidas is just all around better.

I picked up some UA Performance T's at the Exchange for 12.99 ea. a couple of weeks ago....been using them for incline & pack training/hiking.

UA synthetics are good. There are also some cheaper with similar material made by the other athletic companies like Russell, Champion, etc. I really like merino, but usually got with a synthetic short sleeved t because they have a slight edge on comfort.

I've got a number of Duofold T shirts. I have them in brown and tan. I used them for work in my uniforms and they are the best shirts I've ever owned. I paid about $10/shirt for them. They are getting hard to find, but Campmor has them every now and then.

I love first lite as much as the next guy but 60 bucks for a SS t shirt is to rich for my blood.

No joke. Merino wool is fantastic, and certain peices are worth the money, but with the availibility of cheap synthetics for 15$+/-, I cant do the $60 T's either.

SHTF, how does the Terramar Helix stuff fit?

Just picked up an Adidas climalite ss, will let you guys know my thoughts after I get it in and get some workouts in it.
