Looking for another one for the grandson , I love the size and weight of the browning saw. The duck tape is there for a place to keep it till I might need it on a hunt

Holds 3 blades in the handle. As it looks it has many miles on it .

Coghlan's folding saw is worth a look and would probably be my choice if I was in the market. Amazon has brands like AGAWA and BIBURY...one pretty expensive, one very cheap, but both look serviceable. Gerber also has an offering.

Silky saw with a lightweight handle is pretty slick. Not the cheapest.

I think they are no longer being made, but what you are looking for is Trail Blazer Sawvivor .

I love my Wyoming saw. Goes everywhere with me. Meat and wood cutting blades. Have carried it for 35+ years I think.
Do you have a place you get replacement blades from? It seems like they are harder and harder to find. Out of stock on the last few websites I’ve used.

Would second the Wyoming saws, I prefer them to the silky saws because they feel a lot more stable from end to end when cutting. Still pack down nicely.

I had the Wyoming saw , it was to heavy compared to the browning . I like the look of the sevn saw, its long enough to saw a moose skull, that browning has cut many skulls and other things in the last couple of decades.

Same here. About 40 years for my Wyoming Saw. Durable, works great, and very, very compact when broken down.
