That’s what I’ve used it for, my dad used it on one elk hunt - the chair built in is so nice, especially when the ground is wet or pokey.

The frame is a packrabbit frame, but the bag was made for packrabbit by sixsite. I don’t know the exact model bc it has been discontinued by sixsite as it was a limited run. I can measure it and get a rough volume if you’re interested.

The main pouch of the bag is roughly 1800 cubic inches 8x13 at the bottom bag is approx 20in tall. It does get narrower depth wise at the top but it also has the outer zippered portion plus the load sack. It’s a pretty solid size that’s easy to cinch down too with lots of pockets plus Zippered spotting scope pockets with elastic openings on each side
