Anybody else out there excited for new carbon fiber option for Outdoorsmans’ brand tripod?

I’m not always the biggest weight saver, but this will
potentially save a decent amount of weight. Plus I bet there will be a few options on the tripod to make it more user friendly.

Can’t wait to get my hands on one. What else does anybody kno about it ?

Supposedly details are officially released tomorrow (12 Jan).

I’m curious as well. Limited first order quantity it states. We’ll know tomorrow! This week and next are my favorite for new gear releases!

Guess I didn’t follow closely enough to kno this is when new releases drop.

I realized “new year, new gear” but guess I didn’t realize when that happened precisely.

Lots release in time for sheep and SHOT show next week or during SHOT show. Even companies who don’t have a booth may have a new scope or tripod as part of a display for example. So generally releases all this week and next in the optic and shooting world. Optics released at the NRA show as well. For a gear nerd it’s a great week!

Looking forward to their offering, I’ve been on the fence between a Spartan ascent or Rrs ascend, this will probably be in the mix as well.

I saw that also and look forward to the specs but it would be hard to give up my Manfrotto BeFree with Outdoorsman head and tall bino adapter. Tall enough to shoot standing and sturdy enough for my 65 spotter.

$1,400 for just the tripod. I thought my RRS was expensive…..

Edit: I shouldn’t complain about price, we all know it’s expensive to build this stuff here. I just wish it was closer to the cost of RRS

I’ll be sticking with my Gen 1 OD alu tripod and my RRS’s with OD heads. This new one looks nice but no advantage for me right now and the cost well……
