Outdoorsmans Panhead Cleaning

Anyone had to send their panhead in to get serviced? I’ve had mine for 6-7 years now and I’ve noticed it’s become real jerky and not nearly as smooth as it once was.

Anyone attempted to do it at home?

I just sent mine in for a cleaning last week. It's $50 I think. It was feeling gritty and sticky.
