Its their 1st gen head. This has been used as my 2nd setup, mostly as a backup or for someone along for the ride. So, it hasn't been used much. My go to is another identical head on an Outdoorsmans short tripod. Anyway, I decided to get their fluid head to run big spotters so this is no longer needed. Ourdoorsmans is the gold standard, they're great.
