I’m looking for lightweight storage bag ideas for camping gear to leave it in the field for a couple days: what has worked for guys?

My thoughts: I hike in to my spot, camp/hunt for a few days, hike out for a day or 2 for supplies or whatever, then go back in, but rather than leave the tent up and open to critter destruction/vandalism, take it down, and store it, my bag, sleeping pad, etc. in some sort of weather proof bag hung in a tree or something.

Any ideas? Thank you

A lightweight dry bag. You can hang it for small critter protection and to hide it.

If the terrain allows for it, hang a dry bag up in a tree. Get it in a nice bright color that’s easy to find. Sea to Summit makes really awesome dry bags that all the kayakers use. Look into those.

Rockagator. Sea to Summit has a larger plain dry bag, I believe, but my river rat friends and I are fans of the Rockagator backpacks. They are, unfortunately more expensive now.
