Oregon reducing tag #'s for Mulies and Pronghorn on many hunts

Fish and Wildlife Commission meets April 21 in Klamath Falls Field Tour April 20

It is good to see that ODFW is taking a proactive approach to Mule deer and Pronghorn in parts if the east this year. Wish they would do the same with other units though. Fort Rock, Sprague, Interstate, and others should be trimmed some too.

Wow, 32% loss on adult does in Baker county. Idaho guys around Hells Canyon might be in for a lot of adult losses as that's not far from there.

At least ODFW is doing something. It's not like our mule deer herds were booming in the 1st place. Hopefully the herds can recover a bit before the next big winter and/or predators knock down the population even more.

My choice now is stay with the unit I normally hunt even though tag numbers are reduced or apply for another unit ... The real question is what is everyone else doing so I can do the opposite
