I purchased these pants last fall, and I wanted to give a review. I had looked at Mountain Hardwear compressor pants and Sitka Kelvin Pants...but the OR Neoplumes stood out to me based on one feature in particular. They have a full length side zipper that goes from the bottom to the waist that can be completely disconnected at the top...opening up each side completely. This feature allows you to put them on underneath your outer pants without removing your outer pants. Once I hike to my hunting spot...I can drop my outer pants down to my ankles...open up the Neoplumes on each side..put them on between my legs and reattach the zippers on each hip...zip them down and pull my outer pants back up. This works wonderful....even when sitting in a treestand. I really wish Sitka would add this feature to their Kelvin line. I never liked the idea of having to remove my outer pants to layer puffy pants underneath. I've used these under my Sitka Stratus ( no need to buy the Fanatic bibs now)...I've used them under my C4 Element pants...as well as under my C4 Torrent pants. They also have a built in belt, button snap at the waist and a zippered fly. They even have hand pockets. These are great pants guys...try them out. BTW...OR gives a discount to government employees...always 50% off...sometimes as much as 70% off.

i say so. they are designed as an overlayer and the do that just fine for me. i think mine are either large or xl, cant remember. im 6' 185-190. and the wifes are m. shes about 5'8, 135-140.

I'm a 34" waist, 5'8" 190 lbs, and I got a size large per the sizing chart...they fit perfect. The length seems to be true to size as well. I usually wear a 30" inseam, but the extra length was fine. They actually have an internal snap gaiter to keep snow from getting in.
