OR Crocodile Gaiters

Anyone use these? How durable are they against let's say going through sage brush all day.

I've worn my OR gaiters tromping around all summer off trail up in Idaho (Payette NF) while working for the Forest Service. I found them to be durable and would give them a thumbs up.

Second Thumbs up, I bought the OR after destroying the overpriced Sitka gaiters in less then a year. Do not recommend the big Sitka gaiters. Many design flaws.
The OR still look brand new after heavy use with snow shoeing and normal Hiking use.

They are tough. No complaints. I love them so much I bought a 2nd pair. May never have to use them.

I used my OR Expedition Crocs in WY with about 10" of snow. Never had an issue with them. Best purchase of the year for me.

They are classic mountaineering gaiters. They will hold up to pretty much anything reasonable. OR has also repaired mine for free. Great warranty.

OR Crocs have one of the best reputations out there as far as durable gaiters go. They've been around for over a long time and have a solid track record of taking abuse from crampons. The only issue hunters usually have with them is that they can be noisy.

Theyre good to go. I was issued OR gaiters in the marine corps and decided to get the same exact ones for myself. Ordered mine through anchortex so I could get the coyote brown ones. There's probably not a tougher pair of gaiters on the current market, so if you want ones that will last I'd go with the expedition crocs.

Don't forget that OR has a lifetime warranty too.

They're the best. I also suggest the Expedition models. They're a bit tougher, but also be aware that they're cut a tag larger than the standard Crocs.

Love mine. They have been through 5 Wisconsin winters plus upland hunting. Couple that with a lifetime warranty and you have a winner.

The Crocs will laugh at sage brush. I've been beating the tar out of a pair mountaineering and ice climbing for several years. If they can withstand the rocks, crampon pokes, ice tools, etc they'll survive just about anything. Definitely buy with confidence!
