Looking to get some Large rifle primers.
If you had a choice of Magtech or Remington 9-1/2 which would you buy?
Is there really that much of a difference?

Id buy Magtech.... i mean its a great name.

But rem have always done me well.

Whatever you do just buy enough that you can develop a load with them and shoot for a while. Nobody wants to have to adjust their load based on different primers unless theyre bored or like testing.

My local store has been selling rem LRP for the last two years cheaper than I can get on line. I still have CCI but rem is all I use now. No complaints and happy for the availability.

Never seen magtech

RP is long proven.
Might get 100 magtech just to see if SD by chance is lower with your powder/ case capacity /bore / bullet weight. It's usually a subtle difference but might matter.

If I'm a grain below max I'll slip in a primer change w/o backing off and check velocity and SD . But not a magnum primer. My caliber is very forgiving though.
