I am curious if anyone has this issue. When I am using Onx I like to click the button that rotates the map to orientate in the direction you are looking and the blue cone thing appears.. However I find that it doesnt hold that and reverts back to north being the top of the phone. Also if I use my fingers to manually turn the map it again will revert back to north being the top of the phone. It usually revert within a few second. With basemap I never had this issue. To me it is super annoying.

I am probably going to go back to basemap but may look at spartan forge too.

I just tried it, and it looks like it reverts back as soon as you either zoom or pan the map.

Right now, that feature is designed to revert to north being up when you zoom in or out on the map.
I can see how it would be useful at times for the orientation of the map to persist as you manipulate the map, and I'll pass that feedback along to the engineering team here so that they can look at ways to make that option available in the future.

Appreciate the info and responce from you guys. I never pin pointed it that was what was happening. I use it frequently when glassing and trying to determine best routes to take or want to zoom in on an area I see animals.

That must be relatively new. Used to be you could zoom in/out it would stay track up, but if you moved around the map to different location it would revert back. I think most would like it if once we click it into blue headlight mode it stays in till we click it off.

That said, I've been playing with compass mode, which does keep you locked into track up. @CB4 may want to check it out. When you are in blue cone mode, click the compass symbol that appears in lower right.
