I bought this OKC butcher knife new and cut it down with an angle grinder, then finished shaping it with my 1x30 belt sander and ground new bevels into the blade. Handle scales are walnut with black liners. There is one mosaic pin and copper tubing for the lanyard hole. The lanyard is paracord with a small piece of elk antler added. Got it sharpened up today after I finished the sheath. The 3/32" carbon steel makes for a very lightweight and handy knife.20250401_115637.jpg20250401_131919.jpg20250405_141555.jpgScreenshot_20250408_103359_Gallery.jpg20250415_151159.jpg20250415_151118.jpg20250415_151223.jpg20250415_151135.jpg

Loved using a patch knife a lot like that when I was doing mountain man stuff with scouts. Looks awesome.

Thanks, and yes, I was shooting for a 'frontier' style blade. It seems like a great general purpose profile!
