What exercise, or routine, do you do daily, or nearly daily?

Most of us can't fit in a 15+ miler every day, or even commit to more than an hour at the gym, but we should all have something we do every day, besides sitting in a bean bag, naked, eating cheetohs. No pics, please.

Mine is core exercises. I like to vary sets of leg lifts, crunches (normal/cross over), sit-ups, hello dollys, scissors, flutter kicks, running man, back bridge, planks (front/side), super man and a few others.

I make sure I do a min of 20 min of core nearly every day. If I'm feelin frisky, I've done core for an hour before, or more, which is more than enough, lol. I started off a routine one time with 200 4-count flutter kicks... haven't done it again. My hip flexors were so tight 2 days later I could hardly stand up straight! I was hunched over and taking such short steps, I was using the phrase, "whipper snapper!"

Anyway, if you're not already in the habit, try to get in the habit of a daily routine, supplemental to another regiment ideally. It only takes 21 days to develop a habit, but years to break it!

Happy trails!

Walking lunges. I do them almost everyday . No matter what the workout is I get them in. I think it's because I hated me so much before that I started doing everyday and it just stuck.

I've been following crossfit for about eight years now. Works for me. Recently I have changed my habits of trying to get bigger, faster and stronger to leaner, with more endurance so I usually do less weight with a better range of motion. I have also started to do cardio, mainly running every other day along with a dedication to stretching.

Run 3 to 5 miles weather depending and I am on a pretty solid routine in the gym Monday - Friday, Sunday.

I walk or run every day at lunch and most days do a heavy weight, pseudo-crossfit lifting routine. Lots of deadlifts, squats, cleans, presses, snatches etc.

Anything is better than nothing.
I take it a little easier over the winter months...but as it warms I like to so something 6 days per week, and then 7 days per week as season nears.
I like to set some "minimums" for those easier days such as: 3 mile jog/run, 3 mile weighted pack with hills, 20-30 min video, or even just bow weight exercises while I watch TV - around 200 total reps. All of these are very easy and can be done in approx. 30 minutes. Also like to shoot 1 or 2 arrows daily the 6 months leading up to season - even if just a 5yd shot in my basement.
Now I like to mix in a few long days also - which are typically a long run 6-12 miles...or a combination of run, lifting, and shooting...

Longer days of sunshine sure help...looking forward to it.

Anything is better than nothing, excellent! Just do something to keep your mind in the right place.

All you runners... Blah! Anything over 3 miles is over kill for me. I hate running, maybe its an acquired likeness and I'm just not there yet...

Keep up the training!

Ha, I found out several years ago that I'm in much better shape running 5 or more miles 2-3 times a week that 3-4 miles 5-6 times a week. Now the only exception to going less than 5 is if I'm pushing my boy in the stroller on hills. On the other hand, my stomach turns if I even look at a set of free weights... To each their own. :)

As to the actual thread, I try to do situps, pushups and calf raises every day. Haven't been real consistent as of late, but that's my wake up routine.

I head to the gym daily for a minimum of 30 minutes if nothing else a quick cardio session on the treadmill. I figure anything better than nothing and the mts not getting any flatter for this old dude.

Ill do crossfit 5-7 days a week and rest when I feel worn out. When summer comes and season gets closer ill start my weighted pack bleacher workout as well.

I go to the gym M-F from 6-7:20am. I do a wide variety of cardio, free weights and other exercises. I've been doing this routine since 2010.

I exercise 6 days a week, every Tuesday is my day off due to morning meetings at work. I mix it up between running, swimming and lifting. M-F it's 30-60 minutes of something, I get in my longer runs and swims on the weekends when there is more time.

I don't necessarily have anything that I do everyday except for water intake. I drink at least two gallon jugs of water each day. It's just a good way to make sure I am drinking enough.
