Long time lurker who’s learned a lot from the forum and I finally decided to join up.

I’ll be heading to SW CO for my first elk hunt next month, and would love to hear any suggestions you guys may have pertaining to gear, strategy, etc. The majority of my hunting experience is for whitetail in west central MO where I grew up, so I’m definitely a flat lander.

If anyone in the Tulsa area is into PRS/NRL type shooting, benchrest, or sporting clays, feel free to enlighten me on any clubs or events your aware of. My only hobbies are firearms, hunting, and hiking related for the most part.
