Hey everyone,
Has anyone noticed around their areas of Colorado, that the mule deer seem to be rutting and birthing, really late. This morning I woke up to two fawns with significant spots on them still. I call my property doe hill because we get a large number of doe, yearling, and fawn movement. It is not something I track with data but observation. My wife has even noticed the same thing and said it to me. Which is what has prompted me to ask if others are seeing this later activity. It seems almost out of season when they rut. I live in unit in 3 digit 4# gmu in the front range mountains.
