Just wondering what people's experiences have been. I'm going to take a guess here, and say they can be wildly inconsistent due to the tiny metplat. I say this because otherwise I would assume they'd come more widely recommended. I've only seen 1 animal shot with them (105 in a 6 creed) and while performance seemed good, it was a sample size of 1, on a whitetail that was maybe 90lbs, at under 200yds. Not exactly testing on a bullet to perform well there.

Why mess with a premium target bullet for game animals, when there are so many fantastic game bullets available?

That being said, I love the RDF out of my .308. They perform well and have run them to 1000 yards on steel.

Probably because some target bullets absolutely wreck game in ways that 90% of hunting bullets don't. I know they work great on steel, I'm asking how they perform terminally as I currently have a sample size of one and would like further input if possible
