NM antelope hunting

Anyone chasing goats in NM this year? Drove across the state the other weekend for a scenic trip and noticed that I was already seeing lots of good bucks driving down the highways. Numbers are good and lots of moisture. Should be good hunting.

With a good year of rain and good grass the mosquitoes out there can be insane. Not too bad if you're moving but sitting trying to glass can be crazy bad. One day years ago while glassing not far off the 12 I destroyed a hat swatting at them.

Plenty of drinkers for Antelope. The drought doesn’t phase them as much IMO. Every year many giant goats are killed.
