Long time lurker! Back in the 70’s my dad was an Outfitter in the Gros Ventre area, primarily in the Little Granite and Horse Creek drainages. I started out as a wrangler and eventually got my guides license. School brought me to the East Coast, fell in love, got married and have been here ever since. Dad sold the gear and the license/ territory in 79. I live vicariously through the western hunters but put my work in on mountain hunting Virginia. Sure do wish I had a string of horses again!
