Can't find much info on this model. Wondering how this compares to the Vortex Diamondback? I'd love to hear from anyone that's spent some time with the Nikon.

I have an older one and I like it a lot. It's a nice jack of all trades spotter. Not too big, pretty light for it's class, more than good enough optics for me, cheap (i picked my up used for $180), enough mag power to be very versatile.

I picked up an ED50 this year, the only reason is I got a good deal on it and I want to drop a bit more pack weight for solo back country deer hunting.

I have never been behind a Diamondback so I can't compare, sorry.
