SOLD -- I bought these binoculars used a few months ago. They are extremely impressive, but I've upgraded to Swarovski 8x42 SLC HDs. It's been hard to justify the "upgrade" (at over 2x the cost) and would say these optics are super close to being on par with the SLC HDs. In some aspects I even like these Nikons better than the SLC (lighter weight and wider field of view), but I'm selling the Nikons for a couple of reasons: The diopter ring doesn't lock down real solid (like I think it should) and it feels like you have to work just a little more (vs the Swarovski) to get a perfect picture (it's great glass, but you have to fine tune the controls a bit compared to the SLC HDs to get the best picture possible).
