Any opinions on the MOAR vs the MOAR-T reticles? This is for the 5.5-22x56 on a dedicated long range rifle with still wanting the ability to make shorter yardage shots if needed. I know the MOAR-T would look to excel at ranging long distance objects, but is there any drawback to the regular MOAR? I dial in conditions no matter the yardage. Reason I ask is that I was just offered a pretty good deal on a scope with the MOAR reticle. I've looked through the MOAR-T but haven't had the chance to look through the MOAR. Just wondering if the MOAR would feel too bulky or not.

Never shot with either but looking at them I would take the MOAR-T for Long Range hunting.

I looked through both at SHOT. I wouldn't have a problem using one or the other for either application.

WestDan. Exactly correct. If you have a really busy background and or poor to fading light the thicker reticle of the MOAR will be easier to use. When you are really shooting far (over 1000y) I think that the MOAR T begins to shine.
I was going back and forth between MOAR vs MOAR T for my 260Rem Savage target rifle and I ended up going with the standard MOAR. I don't think that I will really need the very thin lines of the MOAR T but time will tell if I am wrong.

How good are your eyes? I have so so eyes and shoot the Moar t. In a busy back round I really struggle. On animals and steel shoots the Moar t has been great but when shooting small targets up in the mountains where I practice the most I struggle at times. I've gone back and forth about switching to a moar. I'm also running a vortex razor which is super thick. I like it for coyote hunting but am undecided for extreme distance. For just hunting it would work but for targets, like moa rocks past 1000, is where the weakness of the thicker reticles comes out
