Originally looking to replace a pair leupold cascades with either Zeiss Conquests or Swarovski SLC, but a local shop is trying to move a pair of Zeiss victory HT 10x42 for $1171. I need them to be able to mount to my outdoorsmans pan head and I don't believe I can put a stud on the HTs but knowing this is a pretty good price I was wondering what you guys thought. Is this a deal I shouldn't be passing on? Thanks.

I'm a sucker for deals so I'd buy them. The only thing I don't now is how old are they and what changes have been made over the years. It sounds like a real bargain. Buy them if you can afford em!

In haven't seen those anywhere remotely near that price. I would have bought them then asked about mounting suggestions.

You'll have to use the outdoorsman 42mm ring mount. Get them. Those are top notch bins.

Just called my buddy who works there and they do Layaway. Going in tomorrow to put some money down to hold them. I think I need to jump on this deal. Just torn at the fact that I cant put the bino stud on them but some guys suggested some options that I will look into.

Optically at that price, you'll never touch that quality. They are superb glasses.

Zeiss makes a tripod adapter especially for the HT's. It's not perfect, I did a minor mod on it to make it lower profile to fit in my Kuiu harness. It does work, though, and a lot smaller than all the universal "platforms". Amazing glass, congrats on the deal!

I just called the Outdoorsmans about mounting solutions for the Victory HTs and the guy just told me they can install the binocular stud on them, just like they do for the Swarovski ELs. I'm pumped! Cost is $100 and apparently they can do it for the Zeiss HT's and the SF's. I did not know this and figured I should pass it on.
