Hunting out in Nebraska this week, I came across a new use for my pack! Set on its side, the space between the frame and pack is ideal to hold foliage for a quick makeshift blind! Anyone else ever do this? If not, it actually worked well. I got my buck yesterday evening doing this.

Damn good idea. I use 550 cord guts on my last blind, works but a heck of a lot slower than your method.

Ha, I like it! I've propped it with sticks before to help block some of my movement, but not like that.

Welp definitely taking my pack with my whitetail hunting this year. I love sitting on the ground. Instant blind!
