New to Oregon

Hello to all --

Just stumbled across this forum while researching some huniting info before a move across the country from Kentucky to southern Oregon. Grew up hunting whitetail in Michigan, but very excited - and a bit intimidated - to land out west and get after some big game out there. Very intrigued by the backcountry camping/hunting style, and very receptive to tips, tricks, advice from anyone with knowledge or experience with the sort.
