New Mexico Mule Deer for NR

I went there year before last with a buddy and we hunted east of Blanco, close to the border.
We didn't see many deer that week, we both ended up getting one, but they weren't anything to brag about. After the first couple of days we could tell that we really didn't need to be to picky and just have fun.
It was beautiful country, outfitter was great, and we had a blast, but I don't think I will go back to New Mexico for mule deer.
