New Kryptek, Wierd Smell?

Hello Everyone,

I just received a new Kryptek Cronos 1/2 zip T. Looks well-made and fits nice. Hopefully will serve me well for years. But it has this weird chemical smell that's kinda strong. Is this normal? Before I remove the tags, will the smell wash out in the laundry?

Seems like any printed camo I open up has a smell. Goes into the wash and comes out with no smell.
