New Kifaru owner, got a dumb question

What the hell is that unused little black buckle at the bottom of the frame? What's it for?

That’s where the stabilizer strap that is currently on the lower part of your bag goes if you are not using the bag.

What pack did you end up with?

It's a Reckoning/light frame. I've got a ton of great use out of my EXO and wanted to try something different. So far so good, fits great and it's born in the USA.

Yeah if you dig around the Kifaru channel a little it'll get mentioned in passing. I think the Reckoning part 1 video mentions it. Basically you can run the strap to either one. With a fill bag it will affect carry a little but not much. Best way would be to load it up and try both.
