New guy WV

New guy here from WV. My son moved to Idaho and next year will be my first year trying to hunt there. I have a deer tag for Unit and am looking for any tip in hunting this unit. I chose this unit because it is close to where my son lives. Wanting to make memories with him and my grandchild which is on the way. Also have a wolf tag to fill. TIA
