My name is Aaron from Minot, ND. I found this site after listening to the Gritty Bowmen podcast. I'm excited to have found such a great resource for all things backpack hunting. I have been hunting whitetails for the last ten years, but am planning my first hike in trip to our badlands.

I was at the sports show Friday. I wish they had more hunting/fishing gear instead of millions of dollars in boats and campers...

Agreed, there was a lot of boats and campers and not much in the way of hunting related stuff. That elk mount with the wolves was the coolest mount I've ever seen. We stood admiring it for probably 5 minutes.
