Ive been checking out the site regularly for a while. love the site, enjoy every bit of it and have found some pretty useful things here. I'm currently an active duty Marine stationed in CA but live in upstate NY. Been out of the hunting loop for 4 years. getting out in a few months and ready to hit the woods hard. Chase after whitetails in New York and Ct with both the bow and rifle. Im a big upland game hunter, grouse, pheasant, woodcock and turkeys. Trying my first DIY spot and stalk in Idaho this spring on my way home since I've never connected on a bear in NY. Looking for any information/tricks for a diy spot and stalk/working from a base camp. Glad to be here
